Jeff Jacobson Jeff Jacobson, M.D., is a board certified neurosurgeon whose practice encompasses both cranial and spinal problems. He has a special interest in skull base tumors, especially acoustic neuromas. He has additional interests in cervical spinal trauma, spinal reconstruction, and Gamma Knife radiosurgery.

Dr. Jacobson is a Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at George Washington University. He is currently chairman of Neurosurgery at Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Jacobson received his Bachelor's degree with distinction from the University of Rochester, where he spent a year of research at the Center for Brain Research. He completed his medical school and residency training at George Washington University.

Dr. Jacobson is a member of numerous medical societies including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Medical Societies of the District of Columbia and Montgomery County, Maryland, and the American Medical Association. He was proud to serve as the President of the Washington Academy of Neurosurgery. He is a founding member of the North American Skull Base Society and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Jacobson lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with his wife and three wonderful daughters.
